Whatever happens this will be another school year full of new beginnings and opportunities for growth and development… the challenges we face in education, learning and skills highlighted again by this years results at Key Stage 2, GCSE and A-Level mean that new opportunities, new contracts, and new challenges are out there for people who are prepared to roll up their sleeves, learn and work hard.
We need to change people's perceptions about what is possible and the most important thing is to embrace change and to celebrate the opportunities and well as the challenges the future is going to bring. We need to continue to develop and nurture a 'growth mindset' where every challenge, every setback and every failure is an opportunity to learn, grow and develop our skills, competencies, knowledge and understanding. There will be new opportunities and we need to continue to be different, to be creative, to try new things, to learn new tricks and to make a real difference… whatever it takes!
