Leeds Children's University Celebrates!

The second Leeds Children's University celebration event this afternoon featured children from Fieldhead Carr Primary School and it was great to see Nik Edensor and Sheena Critchley who are doing incredible things with the Children's University at this wonderful little primary school.
Nik and Sheena have taken the concepts and ideas within the Children's University and made it work in their curriculum on a Friday afternoon where everyone from the teaching and learning team can share their passion, from drama, choir and animation workshops to dance, exercise and cookery clubs, with groups of children.

It was wonderful to see all the children in their caps and gowns and the impact of the work Sheena has led so brilliantly. Just think what we could do if we all shared our passion and the things we love doing with our children!
