I visited Firth Park Community Arts College yesterday.
I met with Gary Simmons, Deputy Headteacher at Firth Park Community Arts College. It was great to meet Gary again and to be able to talk to him about the Cutlers Education Project and to hear about some of the work the school is doing. It is always encouraging to visit a school where colleagues are looking for ways to refine and develop their practice. It was really helpful to have the opportunity to consider how the Cutlers project and the work we are doing to co-create a new competencies and curriculum framework supported by a learning and skills passport could connect with the work Firth Park have been doing and, with target groups of young people, create pathways to excellence.
