“I never teach my pupils. I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.”
Albert Einstein
The bad news is that the very experiences that make work, life and play stressful... things that are risky, high stakes and where there is the possibility of failure are the very experiences that develop the most important skills in life. We must carefully develop opportunities for colleagues to develop these skills. We must provide a place where colleagues can try things out, watch, listen and learn. This will help build the skills and confidence to prepare them for the challenges they will face every day in the world of work, their families and their lives.
