Great day today at NEEC 2013 with inputs from Professor Tanya Byron, Matthew Syed, Camila Batmanghelidjh and Charlie Taylor.
However, the highlight for me was the session with Lord Baker on the future of secondary education. And the reason I enjoyed Lord Baker's session so much was that he came to see the Cutlers' "Made in Sheffield" stand, met the young Ambassadors from Bradfield, Firth Park, Stocksbridge and Yewlands schools in Sheffield, met Doug Liversidge, Craig McKay, James Tear and George Kilburn who were representing The Cutlers Company and endorsed our programme and welcomed the opportunity to link it with the Sheffield UTC.
