The toolkits and the research evidence for what works are there. The keys are:
- people make the difference;
- learning leadership matters;
- enthusiasm is contagious;
- small is beautiful;
- relationships are key;
- it's a passionate enterprise;
- coaching counts;
- accountability can be intelligent;
- systems can be beautiful;
- training, support and learning are vital; and
- persistence, determination and hard work move mountains.
- Stay away from negative people!
- Expect outstanding!
- Demand extraordinary!
- Reject those who tell you it's impossible!
We must work with all our colleagues to help them strive each and every day to be extrordinary, to be outstanding, to be brilliant.
