THE TEACHER v THE TESTER...PASS IT ON!

We face an interesting challenge as educators and there is a massive chasm between the teacher and the tester.

Between those of us who believe education is about creativity, imagination, problem solving, critical thinking and teamwork and those who believe it is about sitting in silence, rigidly applying school uniform and rules and passing tests. Between those of us who think every child has talent and potential and it’s our job to find and release the magic, and those who believe we can sort them into smart and not smart at an early age!
