I was at Magna yesterday with the Y9 Cutlers' Engineering Ambassadors...
It was half term but this great group of young people are starting their journey with the Cutlers' 'Made in Sheffield' programme and had spent their day looking at the history of steel in Sheffield. The students from Bradfield School, Firth Park Academy, Handsworth Grange Community Sports College, Stocksbridge High School, Westfield School and Outwood Academy City worked in groups looking at periods in history from 1624, when the Cutlers' Company was established, through to the present and one group looked at the future of engineering! It had been a long and tiring day but the students pulled off a great performance to a packed hall of parents, carers, families and guests.
