COMING SOON: THE NEW BLBW AMBASSADOR HANDBOOK!

The Better Learners, Better Workers programme is based on developing the key skills that employers and research from across the Sheffield City region, the country and the world have told us young people need to succeed at school, at work and in later life. This handbook is to help the ambassadors develop a portfolio of evidence to show how they are developing the essential skills needed for success at school, college, university, and at work.

The handbook provides a simple system for collecting that evidence. We have developed a framework, which helps the ambassadors clearly log and reference the evidence, so that teachers and employers can check it easily. After every activity on the programme, the ambassadors review the things they did and make a note of the skills they are developing. The handbook develops to show how the young people are developing the skills and abilities, which make up the Better Learners, Better Worker skill set.  If you want to find out more about 'Better Learners, Better Workers' or help us make a difference to young people across South Yorkshire please contact me.
