We face unprecedented change and automation, globalisation, collaboration and broader social changes like the growing global middle class are transforming the workforce and the nature of work! Work today is increasingly collaborative and focused on solving problems in creative ways.
Young people at school today will need to continue to learn and to gain new skills throughout their lives and that list of skills lies at the heart of the Cutlers' 'Better Learners, Better Workers' programmes and will continue to shift and develop over the next few years. Digital skills will have a key role to play, supporting the learning process, delivering content and providing tools for research and development. Digital solutions can help us monitor, track and identify individual students’ weakest areas. Importantly though, the core skills of tomorrow will demand coaching, mentoring and human interaction to help students learn, thrive and succeed.
