BETTER LEARNERS, BETTER WORKERS: MADE IN BARNSLEY!

I visited Horizon Community College again this morning to work on the 'Better Learners, Better Workers: Made in Barnsley' programme.

It was good to meet Nick Bowen, the College Principal, again and Christine Robinson, headteacher at The Dearne ALC, and Simon Barber, headteacher at Holy Trinity Catholic and Church of England School who are leading the other schools working on this pilot scheme. Great to have three incredibly positive headteachers and great employer and LA engagement. Looks like a winner from the start!! Exciting times... watch this space!
