BLBW: MADE IN BARNSLEY!

I was at The Dearne ALC again this morning with the steering group for the 'Better Learners, Better Workers: Made in Barnsley' programme...

Sharon Swift who coordinates the BLBW:MiB programme for Barnsley Healthcare Federation chaired the meeting at The Dearne ALC. It was a good meeting where we had incredibly positive and supportive feedback from colleagues at Horizon Community College, The Dearne, Outwood Academy Carlton and Darton College, who are all working with us on this developing programme.The programme is supported by some brilliant employers and we had feedback from our Business Champions from Naylors, Pressure Technologies and Barnsley Healthcare Federation. We were also joined by colleagues from the Army Reserve who are supporting the programme on our skills days. Great to have so many positive and supportive school based colleagues working with some great employers on such an important programme. Exciting times... watch this space!
