We know that some great things are happening in Australia and another country where they seem to have understood the importance of skills is Canada. Ontario is doing some amazing stuff to skill up its young people! They are preparing Ontario’s youth for the highly-skilled economy of tomorrow where automation, globalisation and collaboration is changing the world of work and the opportunities for our young people to thrive and succeed. Skills Ontario connects schools, colleges, small businesses, large companies, labour groups, and governments to provide opportunities for young people to explore and develop the skills that matter and building Ontario’s skilled trades and technologies workforce... focused in growth sectors such as construction and infrastructure, technology innovation, and hospitality services.
