International Leadership Conference

Just back home after an extraordinary week in Dubai at an International Leadership Conference. The theme of the conference was 'Educational Sustainability: To build capable generations to lead the future'. The conference was held at the Al Murooj Retana Hotel.

It was a fantastic venue with great facilities and fabulous food!

The conference was organised by ACES ( Academic Company for Education Services) which is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and REFERENCE Consultation and Business Development which is based in Amman, Jordan and it's always interesting to see that wherever you go in the world, Helsinki, Stockholm, Singapore, Toronto, Dubai, everyone is wrestling with the same issues; leadership, accountability, teacher quality, curriculum and assessment.

Everyone I spoke to was bowled over by the Education Leeds story; what schools and colleagues achieved together over ten extraordinary years... the passionate leadership, the beautiful systems and the intelligent accountability that transformed the culture, the relationships, the conversations and the outcomes we achieved for our children and young people. Made me feel proud to have been part of something so special with so many brilliant people and so many wonderful schools.

  1. Wow it sounds amazing!

It's great to hear people will get the story of Education Leeds from someone who was actually there!

Keep telling our version of events.
