Leadership matters!

Leadership is about setting the future direction. We must work together to develop and describe a shared vision for schooling, how we can create GREAT SCHOOLS where we have high expectations of our children and young people who are all coached, encouraged and challenged to achieve their potential. And how colleagues ideas, creativity and innovation can contribute to that vision.
We need to constantly question what we are doing and to ask ourselves what will education and schooling look like in five years time and what part will creativity, innovation and technology play in refining and re-imagining provision for a world that is changing so rapidly that we have no idea what the future will look like?  Colleagues must be committed, passionate and enthusiastic and we must all work to shape the future, to try out new ideas, to break the rules and to push the boundaries. We must learn constantly, search out the things that work, build partnerships and create networks of innovation and excellence.
