AESSEAL

I spent the afternoon at AESSEAL where colleagues from B&E South Yorkshire were delivering the latest element of the Cutlers' "Made in Sheffield" Ambassadors programme.

AESSEAL is one of the world's leading specialists in the design and manufacture of mechanical seals and support systems. Their promise to their customers is simple: they aim to give such exceptional service that they need never seek another source of supply. Their focus on customer service and quality has seen the company grow year on year since it was established in 1983. Today, AESSEAL has 230 locations worldwide, supplying customers in 104 countries, and employing a global network of sales engineers and technical support specialists. They aim to exceed expectation consistently: in delivery, quality, reliability and service. They are a company dedicated to challenge: challenging industry standards, challenging their competitors, challenging traditional thinking – and challenging to become world market leader. The ambassadors had a tour of AESSEAL and also did a workshop which stressed the critical importance of core skills: communication, literacy, numeracy and creativity.

Everywhere the Ambassadors went at AESSEAL reinforced the critical importance of the Cutlers' skill set: communication, literacy, numeracy, planning, organising, learning, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. A brilliant session at a great company.
