THE ANSWER IS "DOLLOPS OF FEEDBACK"!

It's sad that so few colleagues, leaders, managers and politicians simply don't get it.

It doesn't matter whether you are working in a school, a hospital, a care home, a prison or a business, the research is there by the bucket load and John Hattie's "Visible Learning", which reviews over 800 studies relating to achievement, points out very clearly that the single most powerful thing we can do to enhance and improve outcomes and achievement is provide people with feedback. I know it's not easy but the most simple and effective prescription for improving organisations is "dollops of feedback"!
