I was at the Sheffield City-wide Learning Body this afternoon to talk
about the development of the Cutlers' Made in Sheffield scheme.
I was
with Mike Garnock-Jones from Sheffield City Council, Yvonne Byrne from
Sheffield Teaching Hospital, Russell and Jordeen from Forge Valley
Community School, Husaam and Tawfiq from Firth Park Academy and Katrina
from Meadowhead School and Sports College. The students, who stole the
show, were all 'Made in Sheffield' NHS ambassadors and with Yvonne, they
were simply brilliant adverts for the scheme and the impact it has had
on a growing number of young people.
