BETTER LEARNERS, BETTER WORKERS!

Another day, another journey to Sheffield, stopping off in Leeds to catch up with a wonderful colleague who shared the highs and lows that was Education Leeds.

It's strange that talking to colleagues about their experiences of school,  so many say that school doesn't do enough to build confidence, resilience and character in their children! So many say that school fails to properly equip their children for the world of work and that work experience is so often a poor experience of the world of work.

The answers lie in 'Better Learners, Better Workers' which is the re-badged 'Made in Sheffield' as we take the programme to schools, academies and colleges in Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham. The scheme from September will have a new 'World of Work' curriculum and scheme of work to be used alongside Progress 8 and EBacc. We aim to help young people develop and record the skills and attributes essential for success in the world of work, in life and in school.
