I spent the majority of the day in Leeds catching up with friends and colleagues...
It is hard visiting the city where I spent the largest block of my professional working life...
and realising that it isn't my total focus and obsession anymore. I love being here but it is hard being irrelevant to the teaching and learning process and having no responsibility for the schools. It was great to catch up on the news and to be able to check how colleagues are feeling.
