Whatever it takes!

The new world schools and learning are entering requires passionate commitment, energy and new ideas...

We must continue to encourage and support schools, whether they are community schools, Academies or Free Schools, to work and learn together and to share and network their best practice and their outstanding features.
We must celebrate the outstanding aspects of provision and practice wherever possible and we must remain deeply aware that schools do not exist in isolation but are rooted in the families and communities they serve. The best schools serve and celebrate the places they belong to; their unique and special features, the things that mark them out as different, their centres of excellence, the things they excels at and the things they struggle with. And, while understanding the context within which our schools work, we must never see that as an excuse and we must never be complacent. We must roll our sleeves up and continue our relentless and uncompromising approach to tackling some of the endemic problems we still face with poor attendance, inconsistency, underperformance and underachievement and building world class outcomes for all our children and young people whatever it takes!
