ANOTHER GREAT WEEK!!

It has been another interesting, challenging and hugely rewarding week… largely in Sheffield working with some great colleagues organising, managing and developing the Made in Sheffield programme, which is developing at a pace. 

And what I have learnt again from yet another great week is that there are so many amazing people working out there and doing some extraordinary things... in schools like Firth Park Academy and Fir Vale Academy, in companies and organisations line Greentop Circus, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Sheffield Galleries and . And in all these places we are looking for and developing the same things... teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving and communication. And in all these places the search for excellence is a constant feature driven by passionate and enthusiastic people who care about what they are doing. And interestingly it's not rocket science… success is about about learning leadership, beautiful systems and intelligent accountability… success is about about passion, pace and performance… success is about creating a culture where everyone is supported, thrives and succeeds… and success is about persistence, determination and hard work... she/he who works hardest and believes will bring home the gold!
